Grad card for Kara

I made this card with 3 things in mind. 2 reasons are for the CC328 color challenge & SC338 sketch challenge And the 3rd reason is I need to make my DD a grad card. She just graduated w/ a degree in Medical Assistance. (I’m so proud of her!)
The Grad brad is from Mark’s Finest Papers
The spiral stamp that says Congratulations is from My Favorite Things (There is no stamp set name on the package) I gold embossed the sentiment on top of SUs- Nautical Expedition DSP, and then used the Ticket punch on the corners. I then glued it to the strip that pops out. I also gold embossed the little N,S,E,W stamp, ruffed up the edges used a gold leafing pen for the edges & put twine on it. The  Stazon black stamped “cap” is from the same set as the circle congratulations stamp- “My Favorite Things” (bottom right corner.)  For the back drop I used Sahara Sand on the stamps. I thought it made a great back drop image for the “Go in the directions of your dreams” sentiment.

Thank you for looking, I hope my DD likes it.
