Suicide Bride

Hello and thank you for visiting me today. If you are from the blog hop sponsored Smeared and Smudged Blog, your in the the rite spot.  Smeared and Smudged can be found here:                       IF you are visiting me other-wise, I thank you too. Hop along if you wish!

So S&S is having a challenge/ blog hop today.  The theme this month is Pieces and Parts. Use at least two stamp or digi images combined to make a “new” image or focal point on your project.

I combined two digital images  the girl is from “Fresh Brewed Designs” and the tub is from “The Stamping Boutique.”

I used lace for the vale and satin for the dress. I applied clear glaze to the bloody bubbles. The hands isa stamp I painted w/ red acrylic paint then stamped. And used Prsima  colored pencils for the two images.

Thank you for all your comments!

  1. You certainly ROCK this theme of combining two images for one new focus. Your colors are perfect, creating a DEAD – ON theme here. Love the corners and the 3D embellishments are way cool. Great work on this challenge!

  2. (turns head both ways to make sure my psych doc isn’t around)…I frickin’ LOVE this!!! How wrong am I for saying that? Awesome concept, fabulously crafted, and great use of fabrics for texture and death….I mean depth!

  3. What is it that makes us love scary brides? Makes me think of all of the great monster brides. An no, I don’t mean the modern day Bridezillas LOL Great imagination on this project!

  4. This is awesome Kristy! Love the bling, satin & lace that you added to your suicide bride. And, those bloody handprints are so cool. Glad you got to hop with us today! TFS, Dianne
