GHWI #17 – Things with Wings! Inspiration DT card

Good morning happy crafters, I have for you some {ippity} stamps Inspiration! We are having a challenge at Get Hippity with {ippity} CHWI #17 Things with Wings!

I made this card with turquoise Wassu CS and Lucky Limeaid CS from Stampin Up! Grosgrain ribbon, and EF from SU also.

I colored the butterflies w/ Prismacolor pencils. For the dots in the embossed part I used a Recollections glitter gel pen. I sponged the edges of my Lucky Limeade CS w/ TH distress inks. Added some rhinestones. I popped up the butterflies w/ pop dots.  For this card the butterflies came from this set: “What Matters Most.”

And the “Missing you” sent came from “Regal Greetings.”

I have another card that I would like to share with you,  for some added Inspiration for our Challenge #17 Things with Wings!

For this card I sprayed the background w/ some spray inks I found at a craft fair. I used “Pacific Point” to stamp my stamps with. Used a tiny black brad from stash for one of the small birds eye, and for the big bird I used a SU jeweled blue rhinestone brad for the eye. I colored the 3 birds w/ Prismacolor pencils. I used pop dots and popped up the 3 birds.

I used the following {ippity} stamp sets for this card: “Music of my Heart” and “Regal Greetings”

  1. Ree, none of these stamps are digis. All stamp sets shown are deeply etched red rubber stamps, w/ a cling back to go on clear blocks. Sorry for the confusion. I guess I should edit my post and actually say the words red rubber stamps.
