Simply Steampunk Challenges with SBS!

Good morning friends, I am here to share with you my first DT project made for Simply Steampunk Challenges with SBS! That is right Simply Betty has started a new challenge blog. And not just any challenge blog but a Steampunk challenge blog… how fun is that…. right?

For my DT project I made a journal page:

For my journal page, I chose to use “Poe digi” (Follow the link to get yours.) I have colored it with Prismacolor pencils. For my back ground sky I used Stampin’ Up! daubers and inks.   The pen nib, metal corner piece, and the clock face die-cut is from Tim Holtz. I used a stencil from Dylusions and a dark blue Copic. I printed out the entire Lenore Poem onto Velum paper, then ran that through my 5″ Xyron to adhere it down. (I also used my Xyron to glue down the colored Poe piece and the clock face cut out.)To create the back ground of the journal page, I used various spray inks. One is from Dylusions, and some are ones that I made my self. To make spry inks: I used Stampin’ Up! re-inkers and water in a “Mister” spray bottle, shake and spray!!  In the top right corner of the journal page I used an SU stamp, with black Stazon.

Here is a blog roll of the other DTs with great art work for you:
