Blinged out Easter Egg using Sparkle N Sprinkle’s Velvet glitter!

Standard

Good evening my Friends,

My friend Patti came over to visit me for a week, during one of the days she was here we went to my LSS called “Sparkle N Sprinkle,” okay actually it’s not really local, it is about a 3 hour drive one way. But so worth the drive, I love that store, but I get into trouble there. LOL! Well Patti and I took a class called “Glitter and Flocking.” We learned lots of neat things, and we even made a reference book. SNS sells this wonderful tape, it’s strong and comes in several sizes. After leaving the class we went to Micheal’s and I bought a bag of paper mache eggs…..

This is what happens when you have lots of glitter and tape!

I added tape and glitter all around my egg. I then used a Tim Holtz small screw w/ an O and screwed in the screw part, on top then added ribbon from stash, and did the same for the bottom of the egg, but attached chain with a jump ring, and also used jump rings for the 2 beads and the Cross.  The plastic baby chicken deco, I picked up last year, it’s from Recollections.

Check out “Sparkle N Sprinkle,” for all of your glitter, flocking, embossing needs. Plus they do have rubber stamps. And so so much more!

Thank you for your visit and for your comments! Stay Crafty my Friends!

Peace,

Happy First Easter Leia!

Standard

I made this card for my grand-daughter Leia, it’s her First Easter.

I used a digi from Robyn’s Fetish called “Inga the bunny”  I also used “Easter Egg”  (Follow the links to get yours they are  on SALE right now!!)

The CS, DSP, “Tiny Leaf” embosslet, the rub-on black flower vine, the tiny white half pearls, and the 2 oval punches  are from Stampin’ Up! I type the senti on my compy. I used a Spelbinder’s die cut for the image. The extra egg, I cut out and popped it up w/ a pop dot. For the pink flower, I used fleece and a Sizziz die cut, then twirled it up into a flower. I added clear Stickles to the leaves, eggs, and flowers.  I sponged “Pool Party” ink on the upper half of my cut out and for the lower half I used TH distress ink.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
