Case a Minion! The Mermaid Pearl!

Over at the Haunted House Design challenge blog she’s having a challenge to case one of her Design Team members.  I have chosen Teri’s card to case. Because I have a mermaid w/ a seashell and a pearl. I also colored my pearl black like Teri. Here is Teri’s beautiful card. Of course her’s is outstandingly gorgeous!

Teri has used a Delicious Doodles stamp called “Black Pearl.” (Follow the link to get yours)

Now here is my card:

I tried, with the materials I have. My digi stamp is from The Stamping Boutique called “The Mermaid Pearl.” (Follow the link to get yours)

I colored her w/ Prismacolor pencils and baby oil. I colored her in all various shades of purples. I added an SU tiny half pearl to her belly button. My trim I found at JoAnn’s Fabric and craft in the clearance bin, so I got a yard of it.

I have used “Shy girl” from Fresh Brewed Designs.  and “Quote the Raven” from Smeared Ink.

I used Stampin’ Up’s RHR marker and the spritzing tool.

I made this card for a couple of challenges.

Smeared and Smudged: Oh! the Horror! “The Birds a Alford Hitchcock movie.”

And I used “Ravens” for a brand new challenge blog for Poe fans of all types! Come check it out, you will be delighted!

Make it metal and make it awesome!

Fairy tag/ bookmarker

Hello there, I made this tag last night for a challenge at Haunted Design House: HDH115 “Metal Mania”

I plan on using this as my book marker for a book I kinda recently picked up at Barnes and Nobels. It’s called “Zen of Zombie”

For the tag I first spritzed it w/ SU’s foil spray then I used TH Adirondack achoul inks.  Used SU’s corner punch for the “green leopard” print CS. The metal chain in the center of the tag is a necklace that I cut a piece of it off & used cogs from stash. The image is a digi stamp from Smeared Ink “Honey” I coloured her w/ SU markers & put Cotton Candy Stickles on her wings. After every thing was on there, I edged the tag w/ copper ink from ColorBox. Then I made a few coats of clear embossing powder. Thanks for taking the time to look.
