The stamp is from Stampin’ Up! called “Giggle Greetings” I stamped w/ Memento black ink, then colored with Copics. I used SU’s Framlets to cut out the image and the baker. The DSP is a pack of in-color papers, I used “Gumball Green.” The back-side of the polka dots is the printed words that you see behind the image. I used  “Gumball Green” ribbon also. Sweet Valentine! using Piccot- a Rick St. Dennis image!

Standard

Good morning Friends,

Happy Valentine’s Day!

I am here to share with you a sweet Valentine card I created:

Be-mine-mime

I have used a digi stamp curtsy of Rick St. Dennis called “Piccot” (Follow the link to get yours.) I have colored her with Prismacolor pencils.

For the base of the card I used “Wisteria Wonder” card stock and embossed it with Stampin’ Up’s! Honeycomb Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #129378 (It’s actually on SALE right now!) The ribbon is “Smoky Slate Chevron Ribbon” #131152. The senti is from the set called “Occasions Alphabet” #123598 I stamped it using “Wisteria Wonder” ink. #126985

The ring in the BG was cut using Tim Holtz’ die cut “Weathered Clock.” using retired SU Valentine’s DSP. I punched a heart out and put it behind the rose, because the bud seamed to get lost in the BG. (The punch is SU.)

Rick St. Dennis has some more of these type clowns check out his Zibbit store! Rick has also added several NEW images to his store he has over 700 images to choose from. He will even do custom work for you with out ripping you off price wise, like I have seen some of the digi vendors do.

Why dont you all come out and show us your RSD creations on our Facebook Page click here!

Check out my post on Sparkle and Glitter’s blog click here!

I hope I get some dark chocolate today! How about you? Is there chocolate in your future? Or did you already eat some?

Have a super Sweet Day my Friends!

Peace,

KristyLee

Angel by Sweet Pea!

Standard

Good evening,

I have made a Christmas card and would like to share it with you all.

Angel-from-Sweet-Pea

The image is a digital stamp from Sweet Pea. I have colored her with Copics. I backed her on a scalloped punched Island Indigo card stock.

The card base is also Island Indigo card stock from Stampin’ Up! I have no idea where I got the DSP from? Since there is so much going on with the DSP I didn’t want to over whelm the card with adding to much embellishments.

Angel-inside-SweetPea

Here is a photo of the inside of the card. I have used my favorite die cut called “Top Note #113463” the sentiment is also from Stampin’ Up!

Right now Stampin’ Up is having a killer sale!

80 off Stampin up

Day 28 of “A Christmas card a Day in November” goal!

Standard

Good morning Friends,

Today is Thanksgiving Day here in the states. So Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

Today is also Day 28, leaving only 2 more days of  “A Christmas card a Day in November” goal! And 2 days away for one lucky Random winner.

Day 28:

Day-28

I have used Bravo Burgundy CS for the card base. I used the embossing folder from SU called “Snow Burst” with Whisper White CS. The sentiment is from the retired set “Lots of Thoughts.”  The ornaments are from the new set called “Christmas Collectibles #133283” found in the Holiday mini caddy. You can get just the stamps or you can bundle it. The colors I used on the ornaments are: Brilliant Blue, Bravo Burgundy, and Always Artichoke.

Christmas Collectables Clear-Mount Bundle

Day-28-inside

I used the Top Note Bigz Die with Bravo Burgundy ink. This sentiment is from the retired set “God’s Blessings.”

Day-28-stampsI do have lots of retired SU stamp sets. They just never go out of style NEVER!! Do you know why????? Well I will tell you. I have seen brand new sets that have the same design on them. Like for ex: the embossing folder (EF) I used today is called Snow Burst, I have seen that same design on stamps in small places. And other things. I have noticed this before but since I have been doing a card a day and looking through all of my stamps for a different idea each day I have noticed this!

Has any one figured out the stamp set I am giving? It’s my favorite one. Well it’s not the one I am using, it will be a brand new one!

Here are the deets to win a Stampin’ Up! stamp set from me:

Day 26 of “A Christmas card a Day in November” goal!

Standard

Good morning Friends,

I hope this post finds you all doing well! Today is my mom’s Birthday. So I have a lot to do. So I will try to make this quick for  all of us.

Day 26:

Day-26

I have used a retired Stampin’ Up! stamp set called “So Many Scallops.” I stamped it using Certainly Celery ink onto Whisper White CS, use a SU scallop punch, then backed it using Certainly Celery card stock, and a tad bit bigger SU scallop punch. I have also used the new stamp set Festive Flurry Clear-Mount Bundle 133285. Found in the Holiday catalog. The smallest snowflake (the one on top) has been Sliver heat embossed then used the matching Thinlit. The middle snowflake has been stamped using “Perfect Plum” ink and I also used the matching Thinlit to cut it out. The largest snowflake I stamped directly onto the Whisper White CS in Elegant Eggplant ink #126969.  I used a strip of the Silver Glimmer Paper. The card base is out of  Elegant Eggplant Card Stock #105126. Then I used Certainly Celery card stock. The gem brad in lavender on top of the snowflakes is from SU. The rhinestone on the Scalloped sentiment is from SU.

Day-26-inside

Of course I have used my fav Top Note Bigz die from SU, and then stamped the sentiment from the set “Peace Be unto You.” I thought this would be a good inside sentiment due the the sentiment on the front. The inside senti has been stamped with Elegant Eggplant ink #126969.
