Good morning Friends,
Today is nice and chilly here it’s 46 F degrees. I had to actually put the heat on get the chill out of the room. 🙂
I know, I know most of you all live up north and get to play in snow.
House keeping:
Thank you for your visit today, if this is your first time to my blog/ GIU week, then let me inform you how you can win 2 itty bitty stamps from Unity. All you have to do is make a comment each day, at the end of the week I will run the Random.org thingy and a winner will be chosen. The winner gets to pick out 2 itty bitty sets, you will tell me what sets you want and Unity will mail them to you! Cool Right!
Now onto
Day 4: card
I have used the itty bitty stamp sets “Live your Art” and “Beautiful Disaster” (Follow the links to get yours.)
The “Beautiful Disaster” stamp was colored in with Galetos, then misted with a water mister. The “Live your Art” stamp was stamped with SU’s ink Cool Caribbean. I used teal staples to staple down the Live your Art words.
I used a Spellbinder die for the circles. One circle is Pool Party CS, and also Whisper White CS.
Behind the image is a strip of card stock that I created by using various stamps from 2 different stamp sets: “Music of my Heart“ and “Sing a New Song.“ You might remeber post day 2, I told you all how I made the one strip behind the main image? Well this is another strip of that “made” paper. I cut it to the size I wanted then ran it through a paper crimper. Then added some of the pink Galeto to the paper, to tie it all in together.
Behind that, I created some more paper. With Multi-Media grade paper I sprayed “Fire Works” spry ink over a doily, it made a really really cool impression, however it ended up getting covered. I really like the Fire Works brand sprays, because they come out sparkly. The blue and white Baker’s Twin is from Pizzazz-a-Plenty. (When I just wen there to get you the link, I noticed she is having a BOGO sale!)
The 3 embllies are “In Color Boutique Details #130938” from Stampin’ Up!
