Monochromatic Yo from the Leia Collection at Ike’s Art!

Standard

Good morning Friends,

I have a card to share with you all, using an Ike’s Art image, from the “Leia Collection.”

Monochromatic-challengeThe Ike’s Art image I used for this Monochromatic card is called “YO.” This is just one of the adorable images from the “Leia Collection”

The 'LEIA' CollectionAll of these images can be found in Ike’s shop click here!

I colored my image with Copics. Then with “Brushable Glue” that I painted on with a paint brush, I added “Neon Flamingo” glitter and “Pretty Princess” glitter from Sparkle N Sprinkle.

Neon FlamingoPretty Princess

The back ground DSP is retired Stampin’ Up papers. I used retired “Pleated ribbon” from SU. The card stock is also Stampin’ Up called “” and I used a Spellbinders’ die cut on it.

I created this card as a DT card for Ike’s World Challenges. However the challenge is over in a couple of hours. I honestly thought we were taking a summer break so I never posted this card.

I have spent a month in Texas with a good friend, and I was not on the computer much. I could have posted this from Texas, by having my mom email me the photo, but I did not pay attention; and for that I do apologize to Ike, and everyone else for not posting this sooner. But I do hope you all will pay a visit to Ike’s Art shop and look around she does have some awesome digis.

Here is the link to Ike’s World Challenges.

You not be able to get a card made in time for the challenge #19 “Monochromatic” but go to the challenge blog and check out what the other DTs have created, they really do, do some amazing art work, it’s totally worth your time to just hop on over there for some inspiration, or to just be wow’ed!

I am back home, for now… leaving again July 16th for a week. I have some exciting information coming up very soon. (No I am not pregnant!) So tuned!

Don’t forget about us on Facebook. Ike’s Art Fan Page link is: https://www.facebook.com/groups/IkesArtFanPage/

Sparkle N Sprinkle’s Harmony Mermaid with Glitter!

Standard

Good afternoon Friends,

I have a card to share, I am going to use this as a Birthday card.

SNS-challenge-April-2014

I have used “Harmony Mermaid” she is a digi stamp that Sparkle N Sprinkle sells. She was created by Michelle Perkett. Follow the link to get yours. Sparkle N Sprinkle also sells Michelle Perkett’s images in rubber as well. Click here for Sparkle N Sprinkle’s store.

I colored my image with Copics, that I picked up from Sparkle N Sprinkle. Then with their “Brushable Glue” I painted on the glue then added my glitter. I do my glittering in sections, don’t want the glue to dry up on me. And all you need is a little bit of the brushable glue, it goes a long way.

For the mermaid’s body and tiara I used “Raspberry Soda.” (Follow the link to get yours.) This glitter is considered “Semi-Transparent” and like the name suggests, it means you can see through it. (Which is what I wanted for her body.)

For the mermaid’s hair I used “Lacy Lilac.”

Lacy Lilac G1033

For the water I used “Waterfall.” How apropo right! LOL! Moving on…

Waterfall G1071And I also used “Lavender Iris” (this on is also semi-transparent) on the tips of the flowers.

Lavendar Iris G1061Here is what Sparkle and Sprinkle’s Brushable Glue looks like:

I have linked up all the words and the pictures to take you straight to the product.

Thank you for your visit and a much appreciated thank you for your comments! Stay Crafty my Friends!

B-day card for a Princess using Jess College Fund digi stamp!

Standard

Good evening friends,

I have created a Birthday card for a friend of mine that goes by the screen name of “Eternal Princess.”

You all might not like my card I made, but I am pretty sure she will, and about half of the folks that visit this blog will like it also.

So here it is:

Saras-Bday-card-Jess-colleg

See I told you some of you are saying gross I don’t like skulls! LOL! And the other half are probable saying “I don’t like glitter!”

Well, I am also playing “Jess Challenge” the challenge is to use your favorite embellishment. Lately my favorite embellishment has been loose glitter from Sparkle N Sprinkle!

I am also entering this card into Sparkle N Sprinkle‘s challenge. The challenge is Anything Goes using their loose glitter or flocking. To play their challenge click here!

Now for the deets:

I have used a digi stamp from “Jess College Fund,” called “Queen.” (Follow the link to get your Queen.) I colored her with Copics.

I used Sparkle N Sprinkle‘s “Brushable Glue” then added “Neon Flamingo” glitter to the dress. For the crown I used “Guava Nectar” glitter.

snsbrushableglue

Guava Nectar sns

Neon Flamingo G1084You can click on the names of the products or you can click on the photos to be taken to each place where you too can get some awesome products!

I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder, then lightly rubbed Colorbox ink pad in “Orchid” on top of it. The DSP is a single sheet I picked up at Micheal’s. I used pop dots to pop up the embossed paper. I used a Spellbinders Nestabilities called “Floral Ovals,” and on the frilly part of the cut-out, I colored it in with a glitter gel pen. Doesn’t show up  in the photo though. With a Stampin’ Up white pen I added in some dots.

I think the skull is adorable and it’s a “Jolee’s Boutique” 3D sticker called “Skulls with Bows.”

I typed out the sentiment and used a Stampin’ Up! punch on it.

Well there ya go.

To recap:

I am entering in:

Jess College Fund challenge: use your favorite embellishment.

Sparkle N Sprinkle challenge blog: challenge anything goes use loose glitter etc…

Thank you for taking the time to visit and to leave comments! Stay Crafty my Friends!

Happy Easter w/ a RSD image

Standard

Good morning Friends,

Ricks St. Dennis has started up a new challenge group on Facebook. It’s an Anything Goes challenge but you must only use an RSD image.

Here is my card:

Easter-card-with-bird-eggThe image the I used is called “My Little Chickadee.” (Follow the link to get yours.) I colored it w/ Copics.

The card base is SU CS. Then I made a Gelli Plate paper using various texture methods, and a tree stencil that my good friend Patti gave me.

The trim on the side is “Natural Trim Ribbon#129287 from SU. The sentiment stamp is also from SU, it’s a retired set.

I am so addicted to making these Gelli Print Papers! And it’s all Jill’s fault at Sparkle N Sprinkle! She is a great teacher and Patti and I had a super great time in her class.

Hope you all have a wonderful Easter, thank you for stopping by and thank you for your comments!

Good morning Friends,

marchapril unity challenge

Here is my card:

marapril-sketch-2014

I have used the itty bitty stamp set called “Lil’ Bunny Wishes.” This stamp is on sale right now, follow the link. I have colored her with Copics.

The paper under the sentiment and the paper for the sideways banner is paper I made using my new Gelli Plate, I took a class at “Sparkle N Sprinkle” with Jill, (It was wonderful.) These 2 pieces are actually ones I made in the class. I just typed the senti and printed it on the Gelli paper.

For the side strip, I used “Sparkle N Sprinkle’s”  2″ wide double sided tape, I had to trim some of it off. I punched the flowers with my Stampin’ Up! punch out of the top part of the wax like paper, added them randomly, then used various colors of “Sparkle N Sprinkle’s” glitter to the flowers.

I personally adore this bunny I think she is just so cute!

Thank you for stopping by, thank you for your comments! Stay Crafty my Friends! and a Happy Easter!

ANGIE-1067A-VICKI-CATHERINE-LEICA-GIRLS

At Sparkle N Sprinkle I took a Gelli Plate class with Jill, she is awesome! I came home and made a whole bunch of papers. I used one here for the back ground. On the side I did a cool technique that Jill thought us, the bottom layer of Velvet glitter is GM- “Cloud Nine.” Then on top for the swirls and flowers I used G- “Pretty Princess.”

Blinged out Easter Egg using Sparkle N Sprinkle’s Velvet glitter!

Standard

Good evening my Friends,

My friend Patti came over to visit me for a week, during one of the days she was here we went to my LSS called “Sparkle N Sprinkle,” okay actually it’s not really local, it is about a 3 hour drive one way. But so worth the drive, I love that store, but I get into trouble there. LOL! Well Patti and I took a class called “Glitter and Flocking.” We learned lots of neat things, and we even made a reference book. SNS sells this wonderful tape, it’s strong and comes in several sizes. After leaving the class we went to Micheal’s and I bought a bag of paper mache eggs…..

This is what happens when you have lots of glitter and tape!

SNS-glitter-n-tape-egg

I added tape and glitter all around my egg. I then used a Tim Holtz small screw w/ an O and screwed in the screw part, on top then added ribbon from stash, and did the same for the bottom of the egg, but attached chain with a jump ring, and also used jump rings for the 2 beads and the Cross.  The plastic baby chicken deco, I picked up last year, it’s from Recollections.

Check out “Sparkle N Sprinkle,” for all of your glitter, flocking, embossing needs. Plus they do have rubber stamps. And so so much more!

Thank you for your visit and for your comments! Stay Crafty my Friends!

rsd-challenge-sparkly-02

Here she is, pretty right? The rhinestones are from Stampin’ Up. The flower is felt that has been cut w/ a Bigz die. I made the Hat Pin. The hand I just found at Micheal’s the brand is Jolee. The sentiment is from TLc Creations.  I used one of the rubber stamps from the “Urban Decay” set from Smeared Ink’s Rubber Club.

I colored her with Copics and I used “Velvet Glitter” from “Sparkle N Sprinkle.”  For the back ground I used a few different Dylusions spray inks, and then I used a pearl Dylusions spray ink. I have also used Crystal Effects.

So there you have, I think she is pretty. What do you think?

Thank you for stopping by today and thank for leaving me a comment! Stay Crafty my Friends!

The name of this RSD digi is “Eat me, Drink me” (Follow the link to get yours.) I colored the image with Copics. I used Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks for the back ground. Then I used Crystal Effects to seal my domino. I added a White Rabbit charm and a Heart Key charm the I picked up on my Scrapbook store road trip w/ my step-mom.  I added “Velvet” glitter to the sides of the pendent, that I picked up on the same trip from Sparkle N Sprinkle. This glitter is soft and will not flake off. I used black cording, jump rings, lobster claw, and beads from Micheal’s.
