A French Lacy Sunshine Pocket Letter for Christmas

Standard

Good afternoon,

I have a French themed, Lacy Sunshine Pocket Letter to share with you today.

PL-got-MIL-2015

I have used a digital stamp on the front from “Lacy Sunshine.”

I colored the skin and hair with Copic Sketch markers, and then paper pieced the rest; using Graphic 45 DSP. Also G-45 papers inside the pockets.  I added Christmas stickers from stash.

The Poinsettia is a big Die cut from “Fun Stampers Journey,” I also used their Journey Glaze and Journey Sparkle Dust. The Eiffel Tower is a thin die cut, also from FSJ. I used gold embossing powder on it.

I created the hat pin, beads from Micheal’s.

I would like to enter my Pocket Letter into Lacy Sunshine’s Challenge blog, CH# 74.

Thank you for stopping by and thank you for your comments! Stay Crafty my Friends!

Peace,

KristyLee

I do appreciate all of you, and if I had the funds, I would give you all a gift. (No I can not use this as a tax write off, If I could I would and then send everyone something.)

I am doing a Unity posting starting January 20th it’s last for 5 days. If you make a comment each day, at the end of it I run the Random thingy (Hopefully by then I can get it on my blog) and someone will win 2, yep 2 itty bitty stamp sets from Unity. They are valued at $6.99 each. So I hope you can make it for that event.

Thanks again, I had fun, I hope you did too.

If I can be of any crafty help let me know,  I love you all!

Day 26 of “A Christmas card a Day in November” goal!

Standard

Good morning Friends,

I hope this post finds you all doing well! Today is my mom’s Birthday. So I have a lot to do. So I will try to make this quick for  all of us.

Day 26:

Day-26

I have used a retired Stampin’ Up! stamp set called “So Many Scallops.” I stamped it using Certainly Celery ink onto Whisper White CS, use a SU scallop punch, then backed it using Certainly Celery card stock, and a tad bit bigger SU scallop punch. I have also used the new stamp set Festive Flurry Clear-Mount Bundle 133285. Found in the Holiday catalog. The smallest snowflake (the one on top) has been Sliver heat embossed then used the matching Thinlit. The middle snowflake has been stamped using “Perfect Plum” ink and I also used the matching Thinlit to cut it out. The largest snowflake I stamped directly onto the Whisper White CS in Elegant Eggplant ink #126969.  I used a strip of the Silver Glimmer Paper. The card base is out of  Elegant Eggplant Card Stock #105126. Then I used Certainly Celery card stock. The gem brad in lavender on top of the snowflakes is from SU. The rhinestone on the Scalloped sentiment is from SU.

Day-26-inside

Of course I have used my fav Top Note Bigz die from SU, and then stamped the sentiment from the set “Peace Be unto You.” I thought this would be a good inside sentiment due the the sentiment on the front. The inside senti has been stamped with Elegant Eggplant ink #126969.

Off to go spend time with my Mom!
