Good morning, I would like to share a DT card with you for our newest challenge at Get hippity with {ippty’s} challenge blog. The theme this month is “Christmas in July with a Tag”

Here is my DT card for some inspiration for you!

I have used {ippity} rubber stamp set called “Kissmas and Mistletoe” (Follow the link to get yours)

I black embossed the trees on to green card stock. Then I bleached out the tree trunk and painted it with Watercolor Pearlessances. I went over the flower with a VersaMarker then embossed it again with red glitter powder. I also used red glitter embossing powder for the senti “Merry Kissmas.” I used red and white Tulip puffy paint on my tag & painted the BG of the tag with the Pearlessances watercolors.

Some {ippity} inspiration for GHWI22 color combo challenge!

Standard

Good morning fellow crafters! I would like to share some {ippity} goodness with you today. GHWI22 color combo challenge is still going on, and Im here to inspire you, then you can inspire us and show is your take on the color challenge using only {ippity} or unity stamps. Here are the colors:

I have used {ippity} stamp set “Bloom and Simplify”

I have used {ippity} stamp set “Now and Always

To make this card I first made a collage of stamps. I used 3 of the flowers in the “Now and Always” set, randomly stamped the flowers in Bravo Burgundy, More Mustard, and Calypso Coral. Then from the “Bloom and Simplify”  set I used the words and stamped that with Night of Navy on top of the flowers. I then cut out panels, backed them with black card stock. I used Cuttlebug’s embossing folder Script for the back ground. My card base is Bravo Burgundy card stock. Ribbon from stash, resin rose and rhinestone from SU. I colored the butterfly from the “Now and Always” set with a SU blender pen and a Calypso Coral marker for the wings,  a Night of Navy marker for the head, and a More Mustard marker for the body. I popped up the butterfly w/ an SU pop-dot.

I hope you like today’s inspiration, I hope I have inspired you to create something, if so come and show us at our current color combo challenge. Get Hippity with {ippity} inspiration for challenge # 22 color combo with a twist!

Standard

Good morning crafty friends, I am here with an {ippity} card to share with you today. We are now into challenge #22  – Color scheme with the theme of wedding, anniversary, or engagement as an optional twist. Here is the color theme that we are working with for this month:

Today I have combined two different {ippity} stamps.

I have used: “Bloom-Simplify” (Follow the link right to that stamp set to get yours)

I have also used: “Totally Happy”  (Follow the link right to that stamp set to get yours)

Let me tell you real quick about these stamps sets. These stamps are Deeply etched red rubber cling mount stamps that come already cut out with the cushion backing. So all you have to do is pull the paper backing off stick it on your clear block and stamp away! These are high quality stamps! And I just love mixing and matching all of my {ippity} stamps sets together. These are “Unity” endorsed stamps so they go well when pairing with unity stamps also.

You have to use at least two of the colors shown. I have use four colors today on my card.  So here is what I had fun making:

I embossed my flower and added SU half pearls. I also embossed my sentiment. The eyelet and all card stock is from Stampin’ Up. The boarder punch is SU also. The ribbon and trim is from stash. I have bee accused of being “Over the top” in my projects, so to me this card is a bit CAS. However, I think there is probably still too much stuff on here to be really considered CAS. Furthermore, I really like how the flower looks by just being embossed in that burgundy color, and not colored in.

I think this would make a great wedding, anniversary, or engagement card. You could be “Totally happy” for any one of those occasions. (Plus other occasions as well.)

I hope I have inspired you to come play our GHWI Challenge # 22 Color scheme with the theme of wedding, anniversary, or engagement as an optional twist. This challenge will run for a month. And there is an {ippity} stamp set as a prize!

GHWI Challenge #21 Flower with a leaf DT

Standard

Good morning, I have an {ippity} project to share with you today. The Get hippity with {ippity} challenge blog’s challenge theme is “Flower with a leaf” so I made my flower out of red embossing powder; by using my melting pot and a mold I bought from AVON. The stem is ribbon from SU, and the leaf is a stamp but IDK what co?

I have used {ippity} rubber stamp set: “Angie Girl: Dream with your Heart”

For my BG I stamped it with a chicken wire stamp, then the stamp w/ the long stems and small flowers (Shown above.) I then used a stencil from Dylusions/Ranger called “Dotted Flowers” (DYS34018.) I sprayed it with Perfect Pearls Mists in “Heirloom Gold”(PPM28314) on just the dots. I colored the girl with Copics cut her out placed her down, stamped the senti, then added the grass wich I cut using MS’s “Fringe craft scissors” then I used my Versa Marker on the tips.  I adhered the grass using “Washi Tape” I cut the flower on the dress out w/ a Sizzix big die-cut and felt then added a rhinestone.

Easter card!

Standard

Good morning I  have some {ippity} inspiration for you today! Get Hippity with {ippity’s}  challenge #18  is “Henna Colors”

You can use two or more colors. I went with three colors for my card. I chose Basic Grey, Bravo Burgundy, and Calypso Coral card-stock from Stampin’ Up!

I used {ippity} stamp set “What Matters Most.” These stamp sets are deeply etched red rubber cling mount.

I silver embossed my three different stamps on the Basic Grey card-stock, then cut them out with two different Spellbinder’s die-cuts.  Then matted that also using Spellbinder’s die-cuts in Calypso Coral card-stock. On the Bravo Burgundy card-stock, I stamped the “1 cross + 3 nails = 4 given” stamp using Versa Mark several times randomly, then with SU’s “Lattice” EF I embossed it. I used coral floss and wrapped it six times.  On top of the Cross I used rhinestones from SU. The gray half pearls are from Micheal’s.

Birds were colored w/ Prismacolor pencils & baby oil. The red Note I made using a melting pot and a silicon mold and red embossing powder. The senti that reads “life is a song.
