I would like to share a card that I made for Freshly Made Sketches challenge blog: #429 – A Sketch by Judy

I followed their sketch:

 

I used the Stampin’ Up set called “This Little Piggy.” I personally adore this stamp set, and totally have not used it much.  Stamped it onto Kraft card stock and colored it with Prismacolor colored pencils. Dies by Sizzix. Embossing folder by Cuttlebug.

Friday Friends with Flair and Inkspirational!

Good afternoon Friends,

I have another Birthday card that I created today. Lots of Birthdays are coming up! I am also playing in Unity Stamp Co’s Friends with Flair Friday.

And I am also playing in the challenge blog “Inkspirational” for their sketch challenge #54.

I have used Unity’s stamp set called “Array of Bottles.”  {from the itty bitty collection}. I used Copics to color my image. And used Pool Party and sponged the background.

I did not use the sentiment it came with, because this is a birthday card. I used the sentiment from the set called “How YOU Doin’.”

 

I used a Stampin’ Up’s! embossing folder, on yellow card stock. Then I sprayed it spray inks. The ribbon is also from Stampin’ Up!

20 Winks!

Good morning Friends,

It is a great day here in Sunny Florida, the weather is just perfect! I hope it is good for you all? Well today I  have an altered tag to share with you all! I have used the digital image from Rick St. Dennis called “20 Winks” Follow the link to get yours!

If you are a Rick St. Dennis Facebook follower, then you saw my preview of 20 Winks:

Well I created a tag with here:

I have used a pre-cut Ranger Tag. Then sprayed Dylusions spray inks. I felt that if I were to use back ground stamps, the image might get lost in with them; this way the focus is on this totally BEAUTIFUL fairy! I used a sentiment stamp from Stampin’ Up! that reads ” Now and then it is good to pause in our PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS and just be happy.” I felt this was a good sentiment to go with this image because NAPPING  makes me Happy! I used a Fiskars grass punch for the bottom. So what do you think of my tag! I used Copics to color in my image.

Here is the LOVELY NEW CHALLENGE!!!!

You can choose from the “Color Inspiration” or the “Card Sketch” or the “Scrapbook sketch” or do all 3 in one?

I went with the color challenge:

I have used Unity Stamp Co.’s itty bitty called “You Crack me up.” (Follow the link to get yours.)

My card base is “Perfect Plum” from Stampin’ Up! Then I used a some DSP from Graphic 45,  then Whisper White CS, then I made some paper with my spray inks, and then turquoise CS. I fussy cut 3 butterflies from this set.

The flowers were created by adding Score Tape to CS, then with my Velvet Fine glitter from “Sparkle N Sprinkle” and a SU boarder punch. After you add one color, then peal off the boarder punched paper and add a different colored glitter there. After that I used a SU flower punch from the new catalog. I used SU buttons on the flowers. Embossing folder from Cuttlebug.

I chose Sketch 1 here’s my card:

I have used a digi image from Rick St. Dennis. I colored it using Copics. The clear rhinestones on his vest, the black rhinestone for the bird’s eye, and the 2 turquoise Gems came from Pizzazz Aplenty.”

The wishbone is from  TH. The ribbon, sentiment stamp, ink, and card stock is from Stampin’ Up! DSP from stash.

This is this month’s challenge: A color, and 2 sketches, 1 card, 1 scrap-page

You can pick one or all, I went with the COLOR and the CARD SKETCH:

All of the colors are in here. And I made the card square, w/ an image to the left and a sentiment to the right.

For the back ground I used Gelatos. I colored my flower and leaves with Copics. Stamped the HB with “Taken with Teal.”

All card stock, DSP and the small purple button in the center of the flower, (I tied yellow floss in the button,) is from Stampin’ Up!

And like I usually do, I have deco’ed the inside:

The sentiment inside is also a Unity Stamp Co. stamp, and stamped w/ “Taken with Teal.” I put another sheet of SU DSP in here.

This stamp is called: “Beauty of Dreams” (Follow the link to get yours.)

I want to share this special Birthday card for a special person. She has touched so many lives with her art and her words!

Here is your Birthday card:

The stamp is from Stampin’ Up! called “Giggle Greetings” I stamped w/ Memento black ink, then colored with Copics. I used SU’s Framlets to cut out the image and the baker. The DSP is a pack of in-color papers, I used “Gumball Green.” The back-side of the polka dots is the printed words that you see behind the image. I used  “Gumball Green” ribbon also. The butterfly and swirl bling is from stash.

The bling is for you Susan, I wanted it blingie and funny!

This is the inside of Susan’s card. IDK who the stamp is from? I used the SU Top Note die cut & a strip of DSP.

Sweet Valentine! using Piccot- a Rick St. Dennis image!

Good morning Friends,

Happy Valentine’s Day!

I am here to share with you a sweet Valentine card I created:

I have used a digi stamp curtsy of Rick St. Dennis called “Piccot” (Follow the link to get yours.) I have colored her with Prismacolor pencils.

For the base of the card I used “Wisteria Wonder” card stock and embossed it with Stampin’ Up’s! Honeycomb Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #129378 (It’s actually on SALE right now!) The ribbon is “Smoky Slate Chevron Ribbon” #131152. The senti is from the set called “Occasions Alphabet” #123598 I stamped it using “Wisteria Wonder” ink. #126985

The ring in the BG was cut using Tim Holtz’ die cut “Weathered Clock.” using retired SU Valentine’s DSP. I punched a heart out and put it behind the rose, because the bud seamed to get lost in the BG. (The punch is SU.)

Rick St. Dennis has some more of these type clowns check out his Zibbit store! Rick has also added several NEW images to his store he has over 700 images to choose from. He will even do custom work for you with out ripping you off price wise, like I have seen some of the digi vendors do.

My new SU stamp and some ATCs!

Good evening Friends,

I would like to share some ATCs with you all. I made this ATCs for my Inky Froggies group on Facebook. This is January’s ATC swap, the theme is “New” interpret as you wish. Use something new like a stamp, embellishment, or new technique.

I went with NEW STAMPS!

I have used the stamp set called “Follow you Heart”  #134611

I used Ranger spray inks for the back ground. Then stamped the Eiffile tower using black Stazon. I used two banner stamps from the “Banner Blast” stamp set which is FREE! and used the matching banner punch which is also FREE! I used Westiera Wonder Bakers Twine.  On the bottom I used Baked Brown Sugar stretch trim. #130022. The colors that I used for my 3 banners are: Summer Starfruit, Strawberry Slush, and Cool Caribbean.  I hand wrote Happy New Year, then I found my SU stamp set that had those words.

 

I made a card as a inspiration card for my February monthly challenge for my Inky Froggies group. The theme is “Lovies” interpret as you wish. It can be a Valentine card/ project, or anything that you love etc… I love Coffee and I love friends! And I just got this stamp set in the mail and I just had to play with it!!!! I was so excited!

I have used Stampin’ Up’s! stamp set called “Perfect Blend” #131392 I stamped 2 cups using Baked Brown Sugar ink. I used 2 super light blue Copics on the cups. The senti was stamped using “Strawberry Slush”  The hearts were cut out using the “Fashionable Hearts Embosslits Die” #125596 with the newest in-color DSP. I used brown Baker’s Twin, and Strawberry Slush stretch trim. #130023
