Singing in the Rain! GHWI #19 – Rain and/or showers!

Good morning friends, I have a DT card to share with you today. We are having a challenge at Get Hippity with {ippity} and the theme is Rain and/or showers, GHWI #19.  I have used 2 different stamp sets to create my card.

These {ippity} stamps are deeply etched, red rubber cling mount.

For my easel card, I stamped my back ground using the music sheet from Music of my Heart in Sahara Sand. Then I used Cuttle Bug’s “Bubbles” embossing folder. I punched out a total of four clouds, I glued two of them down and used pop dots on the other two. I sponged the clouds with Basic Grey, and used SU’s “Polka dot” embossing folder. My rain drops are from Recollections.  I cut out two umbrellas w/ my Cricut and popped up one . I colored the Bird w/ Prismacolor pencils and added turquoise Stickles on the feathers and popped it up. And I added an SU jeweled brad for the eye. “Singing in the Rain” is hand written and popped up. The “Thoughts of You” senti is from the Regal Greetings stamp set and on the bottom piece of card stock I stamped it using the end of the frame stamp in the Regal Greetings stamp set w/ Sahara Sand. On the inside I used “Top Note” and white card stock, I sponged the edges w/ Taken with Teal for a place to write.

GHWI Challenge #15-Music, Inspiration, Wall-Hanging!!

Good Monday morning my fellow {ippity} fans. I have made you a Wall-Hanging. I have used 2 different stamp sets:

I would like to share some inspiration with you for our . This challenge will last for another 5 days so you still have time to enter and show us your {ippity} unity endorsed creations with music in mind.

For my Wall-Hanging, I covered a 6×6 chip-board with fabric. Used Pear Pizazz ribbon for the hanger. I also used some stash trim around the center picture. Use the Music stamp I gold embossed it on DP from Basic Grey. Sponged the edges withe TH’s distress ink. I used the tree from What Matters Most as a branch. It was stamped in TH’s distress ink, then colored w/ Prismacolor pencils. I put a small black brad for one of the bird’s eye, and the bigger bird I used a blue jeweled brad. Birds were colored w/ Prismacolor pencils & baby oil. The red Note I made using a melting pot and a silicon mold and red embossing powder. The senti that reads “life is a song. Sing it loud” I stamped in TH’s distress ink and then sponged the edges w/ the same. Backed it then used pop dots on it.

Chick Challenges with ippity! Music of my heart!

I made this card using “Music of my Heart” by {ippity} stamps Unity endorsed.  I followed a sketch for a sketch challenge going on at Chich Challenges {with ippity} Here is the sketch I gold embossed the heart stamp over my Spellbinder‘s die-cut. I made that paper using glossy CS and TH’s Adirondack alcohol inks.  I gold embossed the senti and around the edges. The flower is fleece (material) cut out using a Sizzix die-cut, then twirled. The leaf is a Stampin’ Up’s stamp and punch. For the ribbon I used two thin strips of white satin. I beaded up the charms, that I picked up at me LCS. The BG DSP is from K& Company.

Good morning I would like to share some inspiration w/ you.  I made this card for the new challenge going on at “Get Hippity with {ippity’s} challenge blog. Click here to play. GHWI #13 “It’s all about hearts! ” All you have to do is use an {ippity} or unity stamps set and put hearts on it! Easy right? For my DT card I used {ippity} set “Music of my Heart.”

For my card I used Pink Pirouette CS. I was inspired by this card here for the shape of my card. I used K&Company’s new “Valentine paper pack” it has little hearts all over it. I used a hearts boarder punch on the side. Then layered w/ a dolie. Then I made some paper w/ glossy card-stock and TH’s Adirondack alcohol inks, gold embossed the music sheet stamp , & cut it out using “Top Note”  I used SU’s gold cording. Gold embossed the sentiment and key, colored in the hearts w/ Rose Pink SU marker. Added some pink lace trim (From stash) held on w/ heart brads. For the hearts up front. I embossed the music sheet, then w/ the “Heart” SU punch I punched out 3 hearts, w/ the heart stamp I purple embossed it cut it out and placed it over one of the punched hearts, then layered the other 2 hearts behind it.

Hello there, I have here a card I made today using an {ippity} stamp set called “Music of my Heart” I followed a sketch challenge from Chick Challenges.

I won some crafty goodies from Susan Guzy so the DSP I used in the BG is from her. Last night I played around w/ TH’s Adirondack alcohol inks and made several papers. I used Stampin’ Up’s 3 hearts punch on the papers then added floss to them. I used SU’s “Marina Mist” CS, grosgrain ribbon, and ink. I stamped the music then the bird on top if it and cut out the bird. On the inside of the card, the heart is a Spellbinders die-cut. Here is a pix of the entire stamp set:

I think this is a wonderful set, it’s cling mounded and it’s deeply etched rubber, so all of them are super nice! Click here to get you some {ippity} stamps (unity endorsed.)
