My Copic Marker Class by Kit and Clowder!

Standard

Good morning friends,

Since it’s now past Christmas, I can share with you a project I created. I currently take Alyce Keegen’s Kit and Clowder’s marker coloring class. It’s a monthly class where Alyce goes over different techniques.

Here is the one for December:

knc-class-for-sue-hall-2016

I colored my digital image from “Polkadoodles”  called “Winnie Winterland – North Pole,” (Follow the link to get yours) with Copic Sketch markers that I get from “Marker POP.”

After I colored it, I pasted it to an 8×10 stretched canvas, then added texture paste and different colored snowflake gems around it, and one silver little snowman.

I gifted this to a friend of mine for a Christmas present.

Happy Holiday’s to all!

Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!

I have used Copics purchased from Marker POP.

I am entering this into Marker POP’s challenge: Challenge #110, it’s all about Winter.

Thanks for stopping by, stay Crafty my Friends!

Peace,

August Challenge with Dylusions

Standard

Happy Friday morning,

A couple month’s ago I found this fun Facebook group called “The Dylusions Facebook Challenge.” Yep, you guessed it, they do monthly challenges there. I like to be challenged, makes me think of other ways to use my crafting supplies and  to play around in my black Dylusions journal book. So for the month of August the challenge theme is “Turquoise, Orange and Bones.” This is my 2nd month playing in the challenge. And honestly, I haven’t figured out if they do prizes or even announce a winner? I do it for fun!

So here is what I came  up with:

Tq-and-bones-ch-Aug-2016

I do have orange on here… I used Copic markers on the skulls. There is orange around the 1st skull’s eye sockets, and then on the 3rd skull it’s close to the nose.

I first used a brayer and “White Linen” dylusions paint; and cover the entire back ground with it. (But not thick.)

Then I loosely & randomly brayered “Vibrant Turquoise.” Followed by using Dylusions stencil  “Bubbles” with the Vibrant Turquoise.

dylusions-bubblesVibrant-Turquoise

Then I sponged “Bubble Gum Pink” and used the stencil “Flower Medley.”

Flower Medley dybubblegum-pink

Followed by using the stencil “Diamond of a Boarder” with “Crushed Grape.”

I then painted my red rubber dylusions stamps with “Black Marble” paint, then I stamped the set called “Doodle Parts” on the top, side, and bottom of my page.

With a paint brush I painted in the mushrooms with Crushed Grape, Bubble Gum Pink, Campso Teal, & Vibrant Turquoise. I then used a Copic Sketch marker and went around the lines.

To glue down the skulls I used one of my favorite glues from “Fun Stampers Journey” called “Craft Glue._10A8517

The creativity sentiment stamp is from Tim Holtz called “Random Quotes.”

Lil-Fidgit-LS-charm

When I went to ScrapFest on May 2nd with my step-mom, we stopped by a booth that had these glass pieces and the holders. I don’t remember the name of the company? However I bought a few. That is what I have used here. I used some chain I found at Wal-Mart. Added jump rings and a lobster clasp, then added some charms. I colored my image with Copics.

Good afternoon Friends,

I have another Birthday card that I created today. Lots of Birthdays are coming up! I am also playing in Unity Stamp Co’s Friends with Flair Friday.

And I am also playing in the challenge blog “Inkspirational” for their sketch challenge #54.

Here is the sketch:

Challenge #54 copy

Here is my card:

FWF-friday-4-18-14

I have used Unity’s stamp set called “Array of Bottles.”  {from the itty bitty collection}. I used Copics to color my image. And used Pool Party and sponged the background.

IB-683-ARRAY-OF-BOTTLES

I did not use the sentiment it came with, because this is a birthday card. I used the sentiment from the set called “How YOU Doin’.”

How YOU Doin' - IPK 143

I used a Stampin’ Up’s! embossing folder, on yellow card stock. Then I sprayed it spray inks. The ribbon is also from Stampin’ Up!

Thank you for your visit, and I love your comments! Thank you! Stay Crafty my Friends!

20 Winks!

Standard

Good morning Friends,

It is a great day here in Sunny Florida, the weather is just perfect! I hope it is good for you all? Well today I  have an altered tag to share with you all! I have used the digital image from Rick St. Dennis called “20 Winks” Follow the link to get yours!

If you are a Rick St. Dennis Facebook follower, then you saw my preview of 20 Winks:

20winkscolored-WMWell I created a tag with here:

20winks-Tag-March-2014

I have used a pre-cut Ranger Tag. Then sprayed Dylusions spray inks. I felt that if I were to use back ground stamps, the image might get lost in with them; this way the focus is on this totally BEAUTIFUL fairy! I used a sentiment stamp from Stampin’ Up! that reads ” Now and then it is good to pause in our PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS and just be happy.” I felt this was a good sentiment to go with this image because NAPPING  makes me Happy! I used a Fiskars grass punch for the bottom. So what do you think of my tag! I used Copics to color in my image.

Check out my post on Rick’s blog “Sparkle and Glitter.”

On the side-bar of Rick’s blogs there are button badges to click and they take you to magical places! So when you go to “Sparkle and Glitter” then you can see them all!

Thank you for your comments and your visit! Stay Crafty my Friends!
