Welcome to Challenge #23 “April Showers Bring May Flowers”! You can use any image for this challenge and we would LOVE to see all types of creations (ex. cards, scrap layouts, fat book pages, artist trading cards, tags, boxes, bags, 3D ~ Altered Art or any other crafting projects that have some form of paper on them). We will also be on the lookout for some new talent to Spotlight! All Spotlighted Creations are hand chosen by the powers that may be! Mr. Random is only used for the Winner of the prize. This challenge will run until Monday, April 30, 2012 at 6pm CST. You MUST be a FOLLOWER and LEAVE A COMMENT to be eligible for the prize drawing and being Spotlighted! Thank You and We hope you have FUN creating!
So here is the card I made as my DT card:
Our Sponsor for this challenge is Tiffany Doodles, Tiffany (Owner) has so graciously offered 3 images from her online store! Isn’t that an awesome prize for one lucky person?
Tiffany has some blog candy to give away, you can find it here! And she has an awesome special running for the month of April! Be sure to hop over and check them out!
Tiffany Doodles, provided the DTs with some flower digis to work with. I chose this one. I colored it with Prismacolor pencils. On the flower centers I used gold Stickles. On my card I added a piece of pink card stock that I “faux patinad.” I first used Stampin’ Up’s “Vintage Wallpaper” embossing folder, then I sponged and spritzed different colors until I got the color I wanted. The final step is to rub Versa Mark on the CS and add SU’s clear embossing powder. The DSP is DCWV, on one of the sheets I sponged the edges w/ TH’s distressing inks and then used SU’s embossing folder “Lattice.” The swirls and flourish I made w/ my Circut. The ribbon and buttons are from my stash. The sentiment is a freebie from TLc Creations, I used SU’s “Modern Label” punch on it. I do hope you will get a chance to make something fun for the challenge and join me at Paper Creations Ink!
