Here is my offering:

rsd-challenge-sparkly-02

Here she is, pretty right? The rhinestones are from Stampin’ Up. The flower is felt that has been cut w/ a Bigz die. I made the Hat Pin. The hand I just found at Micheal’s the brand is Jolee. The sentiment is from TLc Creations.  I used one of the rubber stamps from the “Urban Decay” set from Smeared Ink’s Rubber Club.

I colored her with Copics and I used “Velvet Glitter” from “Sparkle N Sprinkle.”  For the back ground I used a few different Dylusions spray inks, and then I used a pearl Dylusions spray ink. I have also used Crystal Effects.

So there you have, I think she is pretty. What do you think?

Thank you for stopping by today and thank for leaving me a comment! Stay Crafty my Friends!

Peace,

SS freebie challenge and FMS86

Standard

Mays-freebie-SS

Good afternoon friends, I would like to show you my card I made with a certain friend in mind. However, I am entering this into 2 challenges.

Over at Smeared and Smudge they are having a month long “Freaky Freebie Challenge.”  (If you follow the link you can get your chance to play with this free digi stamp.) The image this month is from the “Chicks Dig Guns” collection. (Follow that link and you can see the entire collection.)

I am also entering my card into Freshly Made Sketches: challenge “FMS86” this is what the sketch looks like:

FMS Final 86-001

Now for the deets on my card: I used a pre-made card from Micheal’s. Then I used a Flame embossing folder, that I just picked up at the Scrapbook Expo! I used Robin Hood Red ink pad from Stampin’ Up and rubbed it across my embossed white CS. I have no idea where that piece of DP came from? I used some Vintage Lace from Stampin’ Up! On the sketch it has a boarder punch at the bottom, well that is what it looks like to me. Looking at all of my boarder punches I decided on the goo punch w/ Red CS, I went a little macabre he he! I made the flower w/ shear glitter fabric and a heat gun, then added a SU jeweled brad to hold it to the DP. The sentiment is from Create with TLC. I popped up the senti with a couple of pop dots from SU. I colored my digi with Copics, and I used Silver Copics on the barrel, and Gold Copics on the one round she is holding. Remember I said I mad this for a friend? Well I thought it would be nice to send her a key-chain. I printed out the caption Chicks Dig Guns onto white CS, then I used Tim Holtz Distressing Paint daubers and colored right over the words, then wiped it off. I then used Crystal Effects to adhere the paper to Tim Holtz plastic charms.  The chain came from Micheal’s. I originally had the key-chain flat, but in the photo you couldn’t see it so I put one of the bullets behind it to prop it up some.

Well that’s it, if you have questions just ask!

Thank you for your visit today, and thank you for your comments!

Beach Fat Page Swap by Robyn’s Fetish!

Standard

Hi friends, I wanted to share a Fat Book Page with you. Over at Robyn’s Fetish on The Crafter’s Cafe’ Susan Paulson hosted a Beach Themed Fat Page swap. She gave all who signed up for it a free digi. We could choose between “Beach Kitty” (That’s the one I chose) or “Shells for Sell.”

I made this by cutting cardboard to the 4×4 requirements of a Fat page. Toped it with sandy looking DT from DCWV, also cut out a surf board from the same paper pack. I colored my image with Copic markers. The senti: “You are my Sunshine” is a freebie from Tlc Creations -also on The Crafter’s Cafe’.  I added some sterling silver butterflies and rhinestones from stash. I then used Goosebumps‘ spray it leave a shiny, bumpy, sparkly texture that I just freakin’ LOVE! I found it when I went to Stamp Fest in Orlando, FL. However I was looking on the net to show a friend what it looks like and found several places on the web that carry it BUT I just found it at Scrapbook.com for way less then the other places. So if you want to check it out then click here.

Here is a picture of the Fat Page sent to me by Susan Salyer, she chose the digi “Shells for Sale”

I just love her coloring on this! The senti and shell pops out on pop dots! I just totally love this and I think Susan did a great job! Thank you Susan S. for your love you put into making my Fat page.

Thank you for your visit today, hope you enjoyed it! Stay crafty my friends!

Hi there, today I have something to share with you. I was honored to be a asked to be a “GDT” at Smeared and Smudged. I graciously said yes (of course) so here is a link to my “Spotlight” for January 2012 at “Smeared and Smudged.”

I am hosting the January GDT Challenge! So come check it out! Here is the project that I made for the Challenge:

Baby-New-Year

Baby-New-Year

The stamp is a digi freebie from TLC Creations. I used DWC’s DP and covered a “Chip-board album” it has glitter on the paper. I used Cotton Candy & yellow Stickles on the flowers that were given to me as part of some great goodies in my Secret Santa gift.  I used he “Tiny leaves’ die by SU. I hot glued the pink ribbon on the back as the “Frame” for the piece. Then using the same DP I cut a piece to fit the back, glued it down, to finish it off.

Smeared and Smudged has a challenge blog called “Smudgy Antic’s” so if you want to check out another great challenge click here.

Thank you for your visit, and thank you for your comments!

I made this card for no particular reason other then I thought these two digi stamps would look good together.

This is an easel card. The “Vintage tub Digital Tub” is from The Stamping Boutique. I colored it w/ Prismacolor pencils & baby oil & added yellow Stickles and white Tulip puffy paint.

The sentiment is a freebie from TLC Creations. Paulette is a wonderful person she’s always giving away freebies! She has some freebies now and some really cool looking digi papers too. I matted it on Stampin’ Up’s Pink Pirouette CS and Crushed Curry CS, then out lined it in pink & gold Stickles.  DSP is K&Company “Pink Posey Specialty Pack “.

Thank you for taking the time to look, and to leave me a comment of what you think.

Can you believe it’s New Year’s Eve???

Peace,

KristyLee

Happy New Year!
