Monochromatic Yo from the Leia Collection at Ike’s Art!

Good morning Friends,

I have a card to share with you all, using an Ike’s Art image, from the “Leia Collection.”

The Ike’s Art image I used for this Monochromatic card is called “YO.” This is just one of the adorable images from the “Leia Collection”

I colored my image with Copics. Then with “Brushable Glue” that I painted on with a paint brush, I added “Neon Flamingo” glitter and “Pretty Princess” glitter from Sparkle N Sprinkle.

The back ground DSP is retired Stampin’ Up papers. I used retired “Pleated ribbon” from SU. The card stock is also Stampin’ Up called “” and I used a Spellbinders’ die cut on it.

I created this card as a DT card for Ike’s World Challenges. However the challenge is over in a couple of hours. I honestly thought we were taking a summer break so I never posted this card.

I have spent a month in Texas with a good friend, and I was not on the computer much. I could have posted this from Texas, by having my mom email me the photo, but I did not pay attention; and for that I do apologize to Ike, and everyone else for not posting this sooner. But I do hope you all will pay a visit to Ike’s Art shop and look around she does have some awesome digis.

New challenge at Ike’s World Challenges!

Good afternoon Friends,

I would like to share a card with you and let you know about the challenge going on at Ike’s World Challenges!

The theme for Challenge #9 is “Anything Goes” using an Ike’s Art image. Here is my DT inspiration: I have used the Freebie called “Cushion Kitty”

I have colored “Cushion Kitty” with Prismacolor pencils.  I used Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress ink w/ a handle. The Thinlit I used behind Kitty is from Stampin’ Up! so is the card stock. The embossing folder I used is from the new catalog “Sale-a-bration” and I got it for free. For every $50 you spend you get to choose products from that flyer.  The sentiment is also from Stampin’ Up! the stamp set is called “Giggle Greetings.” I just my Stamp and Write SU marker and colored in the senti.  On the top sentiment that is spose to be a hair ball. It’s on the stamp, I just colored it in w/ brown and carefully placed it there. The strings are just left over burlap strings.

What would a card be if you don’t add stuff to the inside? I have used my favorite Top Note Bigz Die, and a SU sentiment, marked it with the same color of SU Stamp and write marker.

Baby New Year by Ike’s Art a Freebie and a Challenge!

Good morning Friends,

I would like to share a Shadow Box I created using Ike’s Art “Ninja Baby.” This digi can be found on Ike’s World Challenges!

As of this post there is 4 days left to enter Ike’s World Challenges, the theme of challenge #8 is “New Year/ New Beginnings.”

If you would like to qualify for the prize then you must use a Ike’s Art image. So good thing that Ike is a super sweet heart and has provided a freebie for you!

Here is what I did with Baby Ninja:

I have colored the image with Prismacolor pencils (I used Copics on the baby’s skin.) I sponged the back-ground with SU’s ink in Pool Party and Basic Grey.

The 2 bottles are chipboard that I colored with my new Gelotos, then used my label machine to add the words. The swirls are from Recollections

The “Happy New Year” banner was created with my new Stampin’ Up! banner stamps and matching banner punch!

IKE’sWORLD CHALLENGE #6 – IT FEELS LIKE WINTER

I would like to share my DT card for Ike’s World Challenges with you. #6′s challenge theme is “It Feels Like Winter.”

I have used the digital image “Thatch Cottage” from Ike’s Art. (Follow this link to get your Ike’s Art images.) Any one can play our challenges, HOWEVER, only entries using an Ike’s Art image will be considered for the winner and Top 3.

I have colored the “Thatch Cottage” with Copics. I used Tulip white puffy paint for the snowy effect. I have used Stampin’ Up’s! Silver Glimmer paper #124005 (it’s on sale for only $3.47) the sentiment is from a retired Hostess Stampin’ Up’! set called Occasional Quotes. I sponged the sky using Cool Caribbean ink and daubers #102892.

IKE’s WORLD Challenges – a place for everyone to play.

Good afternoon friends,

I would like to share a card that I created for one of my friends new challenge blog. Ike from Ike’s Art has opened herself up a challenge blog! The blog is called “Ike’s World Challenges.” For Ike’s first challenge it is a Tick-Tack-Toe challenge, she has even offered one of her gorgeous digis as a freebie! So that is the image I went with for my card.

 

 

 

 

I went down with my TTT, (Lace, Dies, Buttons.) My main image is the freebie Ike offered. I have colored her in Copics. Lace from stash. The word “Fashionista” was cut from Crict. The die cut is Spellbinders, and I use an embossing folder from Stampin’ Up for the back ground.
