Good morning I wanted to share with you all two Multi Media projects I have created recently. The first photo is the canvas I created and mailed out to my Secret Sister for Christmas 2018. The second canvas is one I made for a different friend. I showed her the one I made for my Secret Sister and she said she loved it so much and that she would love to have one. So for her November birthday I made her one also.
My SS said that she would love something to hang in her newly remolded craft room. So I created this 8×10 canvas project.
For the background I used 3 different stencils and textured paste.
This is a real paint brush. The “ART” is wood. I used molds and polymer clay to make the 3 faces, wings, flower, and mushroom. The skeleton hand, and star is resin. I used cardstock and a flower die and created the 3 flowers in the left side. The leaves are fabric. Metal pieces on the top left corner, top right corner, and bottom right corner, the long piece on the paint brush and above the larger face. The pocket watch and 3 cogs at the bottom are metal also. After adhering all my pieces with textured paste, I paint it with Black Gesso, and then added”Inka Gold” and Rubz to the top. To finish it off, I splattered white and black Gesso, Bronze, Gold, and Silver Silk. Then sprayed sealer.
This 8×10 canvas was created for my other friend for her birthday.
For the background I used a brick stencil and textured paste. The “ART” is wood. I wrapped lace around the paint brush handle. Using Sclupy Polymer clay and molds I created the butterflies, face, and wings. The frame, crown, fish, and the filigree on the top right corner. The tulle is from JoAnn’s Fabrics. Using dies and cardstock, I created the 3 flowers and the vines. The arrow and the owl face is a Tim Holtz metal charm. The purple glitter at the bottom of the paint brush is Stickles. I painted with “Inka Gold” brand metallic rubbing paints and also Rubz. Then spray sealed it. She loves it she said, so did everyone at the dinner party that night.
Let me know what you think.
here is the mold for the wings. It’s by Prima.
Thanks for stopping by.
Peace,
