Christmas in July with a Tag card! GHWI challenge # 23

Standard

Good morning my fellow crafters, I would like to share my DT card with you. GHWI is still having a challenge called “Christmas in July with a Tag!”

Aletha Williams, owner of Get Hippity with {ippity} has very gracelessly provided me with this stamp set that I used. It’s called “Kissmas & Mistletoe”  (Follow the link to get yours.)

I stamped my stamps in Versa Mark then embossed them in Silver Detail embossing powder, then cut them out. The Holly sticker, the gift sticker, and the button brads are from Recollections. Ribbon and tag from stash. The DSP is a packet from Lizzie Anne Designs. I distressed the edges with Colorbox’s calk ink in Chestnut. I used a Fiskars’ scallop boarder punch on a piece of the gray snowflake paper and backed it w/ other DP from the same set and put that behind my tag.

GHWI Challenge #21 Flower with a leaf DT

Standard

Good morning, I have an {ippity} project to share with you today. The Get hippity with {ippity} challenge blog’s challenge theme is “Flower with a leaf” so I made my flower out of red embossing powder; by using my melting pot and a mold I bought from AVON. The stem is ribbon from SU, and the leaf is a stamp but IDK what co?

I have used {ippity} rubber stamp set: “Angie Girl: Dream with your Heart”

For my BG I stamped it with a chicken wire stamp, then the stamp w/ the long stems and small flowers (Shown above.) I then used a stencil from Dylusions/Ranger called “Dotted Flowers” (DYS34018.) I sprayed it with Perfect Pearls Mists in “Heirloom Gold”(PPM28314) on just the dots. I colored the girl with Copics cut her out placed her down, stamped the senti, then added the grass wich I cut using MS’s “Fringe craft scissors” then I used my Versa Marker on the tips.  I adhered the grass using “Washi Tape” I cut the flower on the dress out w/ a Sizzix big die-cut and felt then added a rhinestone.

Easter card!

Standard

Good morning I  have some {ippity} inspiration for you today! Get Hippity with {ippity’s}  challenge #18  is “Henna Colors”

You can use two or more colors. I went with three colors for my card. I chose Basic Grey, Bravo Burgundy, and Calypso Coral card-stock from Stampin’ Up!

I used {ippity} stamp set “What Matters Most.” These stamp sets are deeply etched red rubber cling mount.

I silver embossed my three different stamps on the Basic Grey card-stock, then cut them out with two different Spellbinder’s die-cuts.  Then matted that also using Spellbinder’s die-cuts in Calypso Coral card-stock. On the Bravo Burgundy card-stock, I stamped the “1 cross + 3 nails = 4 given” stamp using Versa Mark several times randomly, then with SU’s “Lattice” EF I embossed it. I used coral floss and wrapped it six times.  On top of the Cross I used rhinestones from SU. The gray half pearls are from Micheal’s.

Use the Music stamp I gold embossed it on DP from Basic Grey. Sponged the edges withe TH’s distress ink. I used the tree from What Matters Most as a branch. Birds were colored w/ Prismacolor pencils & baby oil. The red Note I made using a melting pot and a silicon mold and red embossing powder. The senti that reads “life is a song. I made this card using “Music of my Heart” by {ippity} stamps Unity endorsed.  I followed a sketch for a sketch challenge going on at Chich Challenges {with ippity} Here is the sketch I gold embossed the heart stamp over my Spellbinders die-cut. I made that paper using glossy CS and TH’s Adirondack alcohol inks.  I gold embossed the senti and around the edges. The flower is fleece (material) cut out using a Sizzix die-cut, then twirled. The leaf is a Stampin’ Up’s stamp and punch. For the ribbon I used two thin strips of white satin. I beaded up the charms, that I picked up at me LCS. The BG DSP is from K& Company.

Here is the stamp set I used:
