Good afternoon crafty people!
I have an Art Journal Page to share with you today!
In a journaling group on Facebook a sweet lady Pamie, posts a Sunday Scavenger Hunt, once a week. So here is my take on this challenge hunt page:
I created this page in my Large Dylusions journal book.
The page already had paint on it with the color purple and it had dots. So since that took care of two of the listed prompts, I used the page and created the rest.
The page was first created using the stencil “Squiggle” and w/ a dauber I added Dylusions acrylic paint in “Crushed Grape.” That was when I first bought the stencil and had a play day with using it.
On a different day I was using the stencil “Small Honeycomb” with “Peony Blush” and added some of that to this page. On a different day, to that day, I added the black dots by using “Black Marble,” and the Dylusions stencil, “Small Bubble.”
So yesterday, I painted the center of the page w/ Dylusions paint “Dessert Sand,” so my main image would show up.
The head, the flower stems are from the Dylusions stamp set “Crown of Roses.” This was colored w/ Copic markers. The stems were colored with Dylusions spray ink “Cut Grass.”
The wings are from Dylusions stamp set, “Ruby Rainbow,” colored w/ Copics.
The hands are from Dylusions stamp set, “Curious Corrin,” colored w/ Dylusions spray ink “Dessert Sand.” Also Sakura Glaze Pens. The white is a Posca pen.
The legs are from Dylusions stamp set, “Legs Eleven,” colored w/ Copics and Sakura Glaze Pens.
I cut the Kahlua image out of my K-cup box. Doddled w/ Posca pens.
The coffee cups were downloads, colored w/ Copics, doodled w/ Posca pens.
Sentiment from Tim Holtz “Small Talk.”
If your wondering why the coffee cups on top of the head are all brown, it is because I felt since there is so much color going on that to make them stand out or pop, coffee colors would work best and I like it. They are actually colored w/ several shades of browns.
I love how she turned out.
Would love to know what you think?
Thanks for popping by, and thank you for your comments.
Stay crafty, stay healthy!
Peace,
KristyLee
