Good morning Friends,

I get to be part of Unity stamp company’s First GIU Blog Hop! They are featuring a few of the 2013 GIU girls. I was provided with a Unity stamp called “Whatever the Weather Rain Boots” and here is my card:

Whatever the Weather Rain Boots unityI colored my rain boots with Prismacolor pencils. I used the “Cloudy Day” Embossing Folder #127022 from SU, it’s on clearance right now. The strip in the center is “Real Red” CS. The card base is Coastal Cabana CS, and I used some Coastal Cabana DSP.

  12. Love, love, LOVE your card. You have used some of my favorite colors together and how clever to use the dot embossed rain clouds behind the boots. Well done.

    • Thanks Misty, but the boots were colored with a RED Prismacolor pencil, lighter in some areas, for shading and texture on the boots. I know our computers pick colors differently. But for this card really wanted to go with the RED and teal look.

    • Thank you Lucy, but the color is not “Mint” although it probable looks that way on your computer. It is Coastal Cabana, I stated so right under neath the photo. I tried to put it right out there for all to see the color list.

  39. Lovely card! It’s nice to see someone else who still likes to color with colored pencils. These boots remind me of the galoshes I wore as a kid! Fun memories. Thank you for sharing.
